@fillyourlungs i’ve been playing piano for the past 6 years, so I guess I’m inclined to reckon music is for me..?
and I meant he’s going through the motions quickly and not explaining it..
this is my first time picking up a guitar and he isn’t quick. Maybe music isn’t for you . faggot
Why is he playing so quick..
Hi – the scale he’s teaching is the Minor Pentatonic scale – so called as there are only 5 notes that it uses – so it isnt the pentatonic in Em its the Minor Pentatonic in the key of E. Does that make sense? hope it helps – it’s a fantastic beginner scale as there are only 5 notes – once you’ve mastered this you should have a look at the Major scale as that will give you a nice range of 7/8 notes to play with.
nylon is much much softer sounding. very prety. its what jason mraz uses for his concerts
thanks
if its a Em pentatonic then whys it start on E?
yes, nylon sound more softer and more central american :p steel sound brighter and more of a scratch… and steel normally set more of a louder tone than nylon
is there much sound difference between nylon and steel strings?
poor
this guys videos have been teaching me from day one i picked up a guitar!
It has that wide dreadnaught style of a D-28, but it doesn’t have the Martin headstock, so I don’t know what it is. Looks like a pretty nice one, whatever it is.
My favorite guitar is now a Gibson J-200…my second favorite is a Martin Backpacker…my third favorite is a Fleta custom classical…lastly, the Seagull S-6. Those are all the guitars I’ll ever need. Unfortunately, I just own the Seagull S6 and the Martin Backpacker…sniff sniff.
i only learned the first scale
