Can you switch the floating bridge in an Ibanez guitar out? Guitar players?

I am about to buy an ibanez that is $400, with the edge 3 tremolo in it. i hear people say it’s not the best bridge, and goes terrible in a few months, and doesn’t stay in tune. if that’s the case, why don’t they just spend like $100 and have an official licensed Floyd Rose tremolo system place in?

question your local guitar shop what they can do

everything is possible, it just depends if you know someone who will do it, and how much you would be willing to pay

Well you could try that but it might cost more than 100 because it might not “fit”.

I have 2 guitars with an edge III and it honestly isn’t that terrible. Sure other tremolo systems are better, but it gets the job done
