awesome thoughts; i have been playing guitar for a couple years and never really practiced anything; just played songs I liked by figuring them out by ear or looking up tabs. But I know if i want to get any better i need to work on my technique and not my repituar. these are just what I was looking for. (especially the third one with the stretch across the whole fret board). Thanks; you’re awesome

    Nice Krotch !

  • erichitz79:

    Nice CamelTOe

  • Luxorcist:

technically the low e is the first string. if youve ever seen chord charts the low e is first reading from left to right.

  • SworDsYv2:

really there are two whole octaves in between the high and low E strings. it might not matter as much here but if you have ever played a show you should know that it completely matters. its like saying “when you’re playing in F, it doesn’t matter what you call Bb. you can say Bb, A#, or even Cbb”

  • yosup332:

Hey novidas It doesnt matter if you start counting from the high e or low e and he is way smarter and better than you so shut your mouth and stop whining

  • novidas:

dude, before giving guitar lessons, try to learn which is the 1st and which is the 6th string of the guitar….

  • PapaMagnum:

You sir, are a REAL guitar hero. :P

  • paiz2chan:

it happens to all of us.
    it sucks.

  • OXCerberusX0:

  • storture:

I’ve done these exercises for a small over a week, and it’s fantastic improved my string picking and fret hand-strength. Thanks!

It’s like i’m in a dream whre I type and he playsor hisplaying cumc thru my keyboard when u type but sometimes i gota tell him to stop talkingand play what I just typed. sometomes it works but sometimes I have zero influence ro make him play th eother thing or place a capo on I typed “CAPO GOES on 3RD FRET!” AnywayI cant let him get away with it”

  • antietam77707:

    metranome

  • jdmusic07:

Nice lesson. The only thing I would add is maybe try to keep your fingers — mostly your pinky — down closer to the fretboard after you release the note. Sometimes your pinky flies off instead of just moving a touch (saving stamina and keeping it closer for speedy).

  • RawkinOutt:

Yeah he’s counting them backwards. I’m about 99% self taught on the guitar and I use to count the low E as the first string.. High E first, B second etc is right.

  • ifeelyummers:

this is like the best warm up i’ve ever done. thanks man!

  • luisaceo00:

    just kidin :D
    nice xcrsise by tha way

  • 11spike7:

Brilliant Lord…you TELL us exactly what frets you’re
fingering… viewers can SEE what frets you’re fingering…yet people still question you to provide tabs.

    Fantastic lesson, BTW.

  • disownedme:

what do u call that small device again..??

  • EngageTheKnot:

yes but he does it so it prevents confusion lol.
