Comment for the person that does not have a capo or possibility to buy one, you can use a thick rubber band with a pencil or a stick, wrap around one end of the pencil or stick with the rubber, place the pencil close to the fret ( 1 or 2 mm), and with the rubber band around the back of the neck, wrap it around the other pencil or stick end.
