I need a decent left handed acoustic guitar?

I have been wanting to play the guitar for a while now, but my parents keep saying that they’ll get me one. But they want to get it from wal-mart. So that really sucks, cause wal-mart sells toy guitars, not the actual thing. So what would be a brilliant place to buy a guitar, in Arkansas. (For a cheap price)

Guitar Center. Or Sam Ash, if there is one near you.

You’re right about Wal-Mart guitars. They’re mass-produced in China (as is nearly everything Wal-Mart sells), from the cheapest materials and parts available, by manufacturers who are under constant pressure to cut costs to the bone and sell to Wal-Mart at the lowest prices possible. Under those circumstances, you can imagine the level of quality in a Wal-Mart guitar is going to be minimal at best. You deserve better than that to learn on!

Check out Takamine guitars. They are inexpensive, the sound is very very rich, the fingerboard strings are close to the neck and this will facilitate your playing.

Their is also the classical Yamaha for $90 which has a single cutaway and plays very nice. I was surprised really for the price.

Hope you find what you need.
