Author: i really want to learn how to play the guitar and none of my friends will help me so anyone that can help.
What is the best like teach yourself how to play dvds?

Well you can probably get a teacher at a local guitar shop probably but if you can’t go to a music or guitar store and question the person at the counter for a beginner book that has the basic strings and stuff on guitars and a few simple chords to start you off with.
Dvds help too if you can find any brilliant ones. Books usually come with a cd or dvd that helps you a lot.

Try getting a real teacher too.
truefire.com has many DVD/CD-ROMS. I have the “CAGED Cracked” one and it’s awesome. Clarifies things very well.
But I’d definately recommend getting a teacher. They can point out terrible habits before it’s too late.
