He’s doing that F but leaving out 3 strings to make it simpler for beginners. I despise bar chords.
He just typo’d it. He’s playing 320033 because not only is it also technically a variation of G, but it makes the transition to Cadd9 (x32033) simpler.
G chord is (320003). A lot of people play it like this though (320033).
I am new to learning the guitar and don’t know why the G (32033) has only 5 indications when the other chords have six i e. F (XX321X; C major (X32010)

Gotta tune it to standard tuning, so starting at the top, the thickest string, tune that to an E. So standard tuning is E, A, D, G, B, E.
