I have a zoom G1 modelmultieffect guitar pedal. Can I use this with my bass guitar? I don’t want to try it until I know if I can or not because I do not want too F*ck up my effects pedal. So can I use the effects pedal with my bass guitar… or do I have too buy other effects for my bass guitar? thanks for the help

Hi guys! I’m thinking about learning the guitar, but I’m having a really hard time choosing between bass and guitar. I know that if I was in a band that I would want to play bass, but I’m not at the moment and I heard that if you’re just playing by yourself it’s better to play guitar. And at the same time, I heard that bass is really fun too. So what’s you guys opinion? Base or guitar?

I was thinking of taking up one of the 2, and im really thinking of bass, because my idol is a bass player and i want to play one of there songs (Flea from the red hot chili peppers) and i just want to know what you reckon is simpler to learn.

i got an epiphone thunderbird bass and i play left handed. what should i do to convert it to lefty? ive had converted guitars before that were just the strings reversed but i was wondering about making it so that the knobs and input jack and everything are reversed. would redrilling for the pots hurt tone at all and how would i go about doing all this?

or which bass effects are best?

i just wanted to try and learn bass but i dont feel like going out and purchasing a bass just to find out i dont like it, if there is a way to play an acoustic like a bass what should the strings be tuned to?
like could i practice on a guitar and then buy a real bass?

I have never played bass guitar or any other instrument.
