hey i got 2 questions
first off ive got a fender mexican strat. with a peavey 212 chorus.. i have a a pedal board i made with… my ditech grunge, tube screamer, digital reverb, digital chorus, delay, and a flanger…

my dads been playing 25+ years and can pretty much play any Van Halen, Metallica, AC/DC song or any older rock/ metal

ive been playing for about 8 months..
ive been taking lessons since then and i can play alot of blues and these are the songs
back in black
one
sweet child of mine
walk
seek and destory
sweet home alabama
enter sandman
lay it down
and your in like

but when i play i still make minor mistakes.. i play for about an hour and 30 mins everytime i pick up my guitar… how long will it take to master these mistakes?

which do i buy or do i have to buy only a ibanez guitar

it doesn’t seem like there is an insertion spot for a tremelo, yet i don’t own the guitar, so i’m not sure. please lemme know!

I bought it from them for 250.00

I’m starting guitar lessons and right now I’m contnet to learn on my acoustic, but when I get better (in under or just over a year hopefully) I want to play AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Metallica etc. on an electric. I like Schecter Guitars, and right now am looking at Ibanez RGAs. Please suggest anything under $1000 dollars that is capable of the music mentioned. I would be very grateful. And I don’t really care about brands, or Floyd Roses, but as far as design, I like Flying Vs, RGAs, Strats, and Blackjacks. Thanks, I really appreciate it!
Brilliant thoughts. I like the Flying V, and was looking at the Dean Dave Mustaine VMNTX. A small flashy, but pretty cool. As far as ESPs, I really like the “M”, but not much else. I do like the Schecter Hellraisers…. But the music stores where I live I really crappy, I reckon we have like one record store, and in HMV there is just one shelf worth of metal. So I’ll just look at prices and quality between the guitars, and hopefully play some of them to gear which one is best.
Thank you Kyle. Although I never really like the look of the Les Paul, it is very reliable, and my guitar friend likes it. The SG looks awesome, especially in red (does it come in black?), and it plays very well supposedly. I reckon I’ll stick with the RGA for now, and start saving up for it.

ive been playing guitar for about 8months now and i chose to build another guitar so could any one tell me the best wood for the body

i want to buy a reasonably priced electric guitar thats not to fancy but not a beginners guitar like jump start or anything

plz if u have any thoughts on amps plz share

I’ve been practicing for 3 weeks or something, and I don’t seem to progress and stuff, I mean I don’t know what to do, and yeah I didn’t go for lessons with a teacher or something like that, I just go on www.ultimate-guitar.com and look at the tabs and try to play them. And downloaded Guitar Pro and I would just download Guitar Pro tabs from that site and try to to practice, but I can’t, what so ever, get passed the intro of lets say… One by Metallica xD

Any advice on what and how to practice, fret changing is a bit of an issue for me… I’m slow on changing frets and stuff, and the picking I just screw up while picking alternatively, I pick downwards only, but I’m trying to practice the picking…

I just advices and need to know what to practice on to progress…

I’ve been playing for over 2 years..by myself on an acoustic. I’m pretty decent considering I have no lessons and was looking to start playing with others.

I am a beginner and I am going to get a combo electric guitar bundle at my local music store. I am having distress deciding between a Yamaha electric guitar bundle and an Ibanez electric guitar bundle. Both come with amps, instructional DVD, etc. Which one is a better quality guitar?
