considered looking for a Martin D-18 but you assume the unknown history of previous owners. are new build guitars really as dreadful as guitar purists would proclaim?

I’m starting guitar lessons and right now I’m contnet to learn on my acoustic, but when I get better (in under or just over a year hopefully) I want to play AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Metallica etc. on an electric. I like Schecter Guitars, and right now am looking at Ibanez RGAs. Please suggest anything under $1000 dollars that is capable of the music mentioned. I would be very grateful. And I don’t really care about brands, or Floyd Roses, but as far as design, I like Flying Vs, RGAs, Strats, and Blackjacks. Thanks, I really appreciate it!
Brilliant thoughts. I like the Flying V, and was looking at the Dean Dave Mustaine VMNTX. A small flashy, but pretty cool. As far as ESPs, I really like the “M”, but not much else. I do like the Schecter Hellraisers…. But the music stores where I live I really crappy, I reckon we have like one record store, and in HMV there is just one shelf worth of metal. So I’ll just look at prices and quality between the guitars, and hopefully play some of them to gear which one is best.
Thank you Kyle. Although I never really like the look of the Les Paul, it is very reliable, and my guitar friend likes it. The SG looks awesome, especially in red (does it come in black?), and it plays very well supposedly. I reckon I’ll stick with the RGA for now, and start saving up for it.

I’m looking to build a kit guitar this summer for fun. So far my favorite one has been the Saga HT-10. I was wondering if me, being a 13 year ancient boy who’s never built a guitar kit before and doesn’t have experience with tools or electronics, would be able to assemble it with not too much difficulty. I know it won’t be just sliding in the parts, but I’m just wondering if it’s in my ability to do it.

i want to buy a reasonably priced electric guitar thats not to fancy but not a beginners guitar like jump start or anything

plz if u have any thoughts on amps plz share

It’s $180 at Guitar Center and I wanted to buy it. I was wondering if I’d be able to play most songs with bass on the guitar because it’s so cheap.

Most of the time when something’s cheap it usually isn’t brilliant so I was just wondering.

I’m looking for an effects pedal less than $100 with a lot of effects. I don’t really know of many under 100 but if anyone knows of one please answer.

I’ve been playing for over 2 years..by myself on an acoustic. I’m pretty decent considering I have no lessons and was looking to start playing with others.

I plot on learning guitar, but picking one out seems a hard task. I’m looking for a brilliant starter electric guitar that’s left handed, my price range is $500-$600 for both guitar and amp. I’m wondering if any of you have some brilliant suggestions?
