I have been always wanting to play guitar. I am finally going to be getting one, and I am thinking about starting out with an acoustic, but I can’t choose if I want to teach myself or get lessons. soo if you could please help me!!

What did Slash do when he was just sitting there with his guitar? I already know a lot of chords and scales.

I like rock music and really want to learn how to play guitar. So what kind of guitar and equipment should I get and how and where can I learn. Also should I start with acoustic or electric or does it really matter?

i want to learn to play but my husband wont let me take lessons . he tells me to just get a book. so which one is better? i am having a hard time trying to convince him to let me do the lessons! help!

Can I just start off learning the electic guitar or would it be simpler to start with an acoustic?

i took some lessons a few years ago but havn’t practiced much since then. i would really like to re-learn a lot of the chords and improve my playing overall. i would also like to be able to come up with chord progressions and songs on my own!

Is Learn To play the guitar a brilliant book for beginners learning how to play the guitar? I just bought it and i want to know if i made the right choice

I’ve recently gotten more free time on my hands. One thing I’ve regretted is never learning an insturment. I want to start playing guitar. Are there any beginners books that anyone would recommend? (I’m looking to learn the basics myself, then progress to actual lessons) also im 25, is that too ancient to pick up an instrument and become proffecient?
