Would you say I am picking up guitar quickly?

I’ve had my guitar for eight days now and I can play:
-Iron Man up to the first verse (honestly well)
-Smoke on the Water but only single string not chords
-Down on the Corner (CCR) intro (very well)
-Clean intro to Enter Sandman by Metallica (very well)
-Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison (very well)
-First few notes of When September Ends (very well, but its basic)
-Several random sections of Dream On by Aerosmith (well, except for chord transitions)
-Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes (ok)
-Heartbreaker intro by Led Zeppelin (perfectly after a few goes)
-Four Sticks intro (Led Zep) but I’m still learning the hammer on
-The first four note section of Mississippi Queen by Mountain (brilliant)
-The electric part of Starman (david bowie) after the chorus (brilliant apart from transition between some finger positions)
-Day after Day (badfinger) intro, (clearly)
-Breaking the Law (Judas Priest) intro, (ok)
-Run to the Hills intro (rythmic guitar) (only slowly)
-Sunshine of your Like (except for the chord, and i only play it slowly
-25 or 6 to 4 (chicago), but not very well

It looks like a lot, but if you look at the tabs there aren’t many chords, and all the songs are simple. I’m pleased with it but I was curious to see if its below average or above average or just normal? I haven’t had lessons yet I just go on ultimate-guitar, and question questions on here, and read the tabs.
I’m on school holidays and I’ve been playing all day every day so its probably equal to a month for some people.

GUITAR TECHNIQUE: Double Picking

www.creativeguitarstudio.comAndrew Wasson of Creative Guitar Studio answers a viewers question… Q: I am 15 years ancient and have been studying guitar for a year now. I like rock and metal and I am not sure about a technique called Double-Picking. Can you please demonstrate it and clarify what it is on the guitar? Your videos on YouTube are fantastic — thank you for making free lessons! Thank you, – Yakov, Russia A: If you like hard rock and metal then you’ll really delight in working on double-picking. The concept of this technique is very straight forward. Essentially, it is a technique where every note is picked twice. And, as well as, being a cool way to make a riff sound heavier, double-picking technique is an brilliant overall alternate-picking performance builder.
