Im trying to learn guitar and my grandfathers teaching me. I cant always reach him whenever I need help and I dont want to have to go through lessons just for one question. I just want to know how to read guitar tabs.

i played for about 2 years, 4 years ago and sheet music really turned me off. i wanna have some fun with my guitar

were is a brilliant site for guitar lessons? looking for blues,jazz,rockabilly,that kinda stuff. seems most tab sights are kinda crap and have Very few brilliant tabs and lots of junk. I want the real deal. any help will do THX.

I’ve been playing guitar for a small bit, just self teaching with tabs. I am wondering if I should learn to read the music if I want to try to get really brilliant? OR…can I get by on tabs?
(Also wondering if anyone knows of some brilliant books for self-teaching for someone who is beginner/intermediate?)

I have always wanted to learn to play but having no one to help me and the books and video sounds greak to me is tabs a brilliant option? Also what would be a brilliant starter guitar?
