building guitar, bolt on neck w/tuneomatic bridge pros and cons?

Author: Taking on the task of building my own guitar and I’m hoping to use a bolt on style neck (not building the neck) with a tune o matic style bridge. I reckon I have to route the neck pocket at an angle for it to work and not have high action. Just wondering if anyone has some tips or advice.
